Description:
The Skylord EXP control is the heart of the SKYN1 EXP system, bringing all compatible Skylord EXP lights together in one intelligent wireless platform. Designed for fast installation and effortless operation, it automatically identifies connected lights and assigns them to the correct buttons. No complicated programming, unnecessary wiring, or apps are required. Simply connect the lights to power, pair them to the control via Bluetooth® connection[i], and the system is ready to use.
With eight buttons controlling up to 12 functions, the EXP control provides complete command of Skylord EXP driving lights, LED bars, work lights, warning lights, position lights, and multifunction lamps through a single compact unit. The controller is rechargeable via USB-C and features an integrated magnet on the back, allowing it to be mounted wherever it is most convenient inside the vehicle.
Smart simplicity, instantly connected
The SKYN1 EXP system is designed to reduce installation time and eliminate complexity. Compatible Skylord EXP lights communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth and are automatically organized into a clean and intuitive control system.
- Automatic function assignment: Connected lights are identified and assigned to the correct buttons.
- Wireless Bluetooth communication: No signal wiring is required for normal operation.
- No app required: Fast setup without programming or software configuration.
- Only power required: Connect the lights to power and pair them with the control.
- Ideal for fleets and professional vehicles: Simplifies standardized installations and reduces installation time.
Complete control from a single device
The EXP control is designed to manage the entire Skylord EXP lighting range through one intuitive interface.
- Eight control buttons: two for each type of light.
- Single-click operation: Turn functions on and off instantly.
- Multi-click commands: Access additional functions without extra switches.
- Memory function: Connected lights return to their latest settings when activated.
- Connect/disconnect buttons: Press and hold the connect button together with the desired light button. Repeat with the disconnect button to remove light.
Each button is preconfigured for a specific lighting category:
- Button 1: Driving lights and LED bars. Double-click to switch between XP mode and E-mode.
- Button 2: Position lights. Double-click to change color.
- Button 3: Work lights.
- Button 4: Warning lights. Double-click to change flash patterns. Three clicks activate cruise mode. Five clicks return to the first pattern.
Customize your lighting setup
The EXP control offers users far more flexibility than traditional switch panels. Functions can be organized to match the vehicle and application.
- Switch between XP and E-mode
- Change position light colors
- Adjust warning light flash patterns
- Control different lighting zones independently
- Configure work lights and auxiliary lights according to vehicle layout
For example, left-side work lights can be assigned to one button and right-side work lights to another. Driving lights and LED bars can also be controlled separately for greater flexibility.
Optional signal cable for traditional integration
While the SKYN1 EXP system is designed around wireless communication, certain functions can still be connected through traditional vehicle signals when desired.
- Optional signal cable support
- High beam integration available
- Combines wireless control with conventional vehicle functions
This makes it possible, for example, to activate driving lights together with the vehicle's high beam while maintaining all EXP functionality.
Built for the complete Skylord EXP range
The EXP control is mandatory for all Skylord EXP products and is designed to work seamlessly with the complete range.
